Arboriculture and Lithium batteries

Arboriculture is an essential practice to ensure the health and development of trees in our daily environment.

To make trees more productive, they need to be pruned. This task has now been made easier with the advent of new hand-held equipment, which is easier to handle and considerably more comfortable to use.

Lithium batteries for these tools generally come in two forms:

• Removable batteries, which are attached directly to the tool and are usually intended for a specific use.
• Portable backpack batteries, which allow several tools to be connected to a single battery for greater autonomy, are favored by professionals.

The most common batteries for this type of equipment have a voltage of 36V or 48V and a nominal amperage of at least 8Ah. These capacities can be increased, particularly in the event of repairs or to extend autonomy.
